How to clean a song
It's very easy to clean a song! Here's what you need:
Audacity, LAME for Audacity. Both available at http://audacity.sourceforge.net .
1) Import your MP3 into Audacity. Zoom in however much you need to.
2) Each stereo track has a menu in a grey box. Open that menu, and select 'Split Stereo Track'.
3) Set each track to Mono. You might not like it, but you don't wanna buy extremely expensive software!
4) Play until you reach the vulgar word.
5) Select it. Be sure to hit the stop button before selecting it. Play to see if you've fully selected it.
6) To the 'Effects' menu we go. In there, click on 'Invert'.
7) Repeat as needed.
That easy!
Tips:
Sometimes, when the music is up loud, you may still hear the word.
Even if you didn't download the LAME for Audacity, you can still export to WAV!
If you need a good example song, try my Mystery Pack. It inludes Jamie Kennedy's Circle Circle Dot Dot in clean version by me. That's a good example.
